Broken Window Syndrome
I’ve noticed something lately. Mornings that start in chaos rarely get better. A cluttered space seems to invite more disorder, and before I know it, the day feels tangled. It’s the broken window syndrome—small signs of neglect that snowball into larger disruptions.
The funny thing is, I’ve also noticed a direct correlation between tidying up the living room before bed and how the kids behave in the morning. It’s almost magical. When they wake up to a clean space, the day just starts calmer. Less whining, fewer tantrums—almost like they mirror the order they see.
It’s a small fix with a big impact.
